What Do You Want?
If you could get any item that you wanted this holiday season, what would it be? Don’t try to hold back. Don’t try to pick something inexpensive or something useful. (When I used to ask my grandmother what she wanted for Christmas each year, she’d tell me, “Something I can use.” My response was always the same–“You can use things the rest of the year. Let’s get something fun!”
What is your “something fun” that you’d like to have? Come on, there’s no reason not to make a Christmas wish list, right? So pretend you’re a kid again. You can have anything…what would you want?
I’ll get things started…a Kindle Fire should would be awesome. Wrapped up and decorated with a lovely red bow. A Kindle Fire loaded with all kinds of great reads, just waiting for me.

I would have to go with the Kindle Fire too! I planned on buying myself one with gift cards I’d won over the year, but I ended up needing to use them for christmas presents for my boys… Oh well I have the Kindle for pc app and the Nook for pc app, along with a TBR pile, so I’m okay with not getting it… As long as my boys have a christmas, thats ALL that matters =D

Hmmm….. What do I want for Christmas? I guess I have to think about that one. I am used to thinking about the kids and forget about what I want. The iPad 2 and maybe a cruise trip to the Bahamas! Yeah, that sounds good. A Kindle Fire wouldn’t hurt either. 🙂 Definitely some new books. Thanks for the giveaway.

I would like an iPad 2. With a cute case and some gift cards. So I can download books on to it. lots and lots of books!!!! I also like Tina’s idea of a cruise to somewhere warm or some where with men in kilts;)

A Kindle Fire is on my list too along with a pink cover so it doesn’t get hurt when I drop it :). This past week I dropped hubs work ipad2 twice but on the couch. I’d be in so much trouble if it had hit the floor.
Oh, I feel your dropping pain. I dropped and smashed my iPhone this week. I’d never realized the thing could shatter quite *that* much.

I’m right there with you Cynthia! I would adore a Kindle Fire even though I already have a Kindle and I’d only use it for reading (which would seem wasteful) but man, I want!! 🙂
My wish for Christmas is a bundle of free time to actually sit down and read all the “pleasure” books I’d like over the holidays. Being a full-time college student, my love for paranormal romance gets pushed aside for more “practical” reading. (“Practical” is a relative term I think!)
A fun thing I asked this year for Christmas and it’s something I never buy: a CD, in fact a CD of the Michael Buble Christmas songs.
For some reason I have no idea what I want this year. The hubs thought for sure I’d want a Kindle Fire but I love my ‘old’ kindle and have no need for the fire (since all I would do would be read on it) so now he’s scrambling trying to figure out what to get me, lol. Now that I think about it, I wouldn’t mind a really nice bottle of pinot noir and some nice perfume. Perfectly fun gifts 🙂

I’d love a new wardrobe. Post baby weight is coming off, and the bod is different. I’d settle for a smokin’ pair of boots. Oh, who am i kidding, I just want a solid nights sleep.
A laptop!!!
A trip with my family somewhere warm for Spring Break. 🙂 And by family, I mean mine, my sisters and their whole bunch and my parents. We did years ago and I think we’re due! 🙂
If I could have anything I wanted, I would ask for a trip to England and to have my RWA conference fees & hotel paid for 2012. Other than that, I would love to have a large Amazon giftcard! And, I’d love to have my foot fully healed and functional (I broke a bone in my foot last month and it’s taking some time to heal).
I would love a Kindle. All my books are paperback, hardback or e-books on my computer. I was at a storage auction and this girl was reading a kindle.. She let me read a little of her book but our tastes are a little different. I’m a begging for one but he wants to buy a new camera!
I think we should all make wishes–more often!–for things that we’d love to have. My new wish? That everyone gets exactly what they want this holiday season. I want everyone to be happy and overwhelmed with the holiday magic!!!
