Shifting into a Prickly Porcupine!

We’ve been chatting about what we would like to shift into…and the first animal that popped into my mind was a porcupine!

I think that would fit my mood lately…me being so prickly and all. LOLOL

Porcupines produce quills…Once when my dad and I went on a road trip, we popped into Banff National Park in the Rocky Mountains in Canada. We hiked up to the Plain of Six Glaciers’ tea house near Lake Louise (see pic below). There was a lady there who was selling the most gorgeous porcupine quill jewelry.  They looked similar to these at this link and below pic of earrings.

Besides a fantastic view, the tea house had the best tasting chocolate cake and tea that I ever tasted. Apparently they bring in the food via packs on the backs of horses along the same trails the hikers come up…and I love hiking too so I would like to hang around this place if I was a porcupine. It has a great view…oh, did I mention that already?

And since I love salad (you’d never guess from looking at me) I’d make a good porcupine as they eat tons of greens such as leaves, green plants, skunk cabbage, twigs and bark – of course I would put in an order for chocolate covered twigs and bark.

When I was a kid I climbed trees all the time – and so do porcupines…so I would love to climb trees again as a porcupine.

And they have such a cool look, don’t you think? I love their protective armor. My dog Laura (who passed away many years ago) was into chasing porcupines…there were several times she came home with her snout riddled with quills. My dad would sigh and patiently take out the quills one by one with the pliers…what a daunting task! That sweet dog never learned. LOL

So yeah, I would love to shift into a porcupine some day. I think it would be quite the adventure. 🙂

Writing futuristic and post-catastrophic erotic romance is fun!

I have fun writing erotic romances because I am encouraged to “push the envelope” and that means being really naughty. I love being naughty. *wink* *nudge*

Some Genres I Write

Futuristic Erotic Romance

I enjoy writing futuristic erotic romance because I get to create any kind of world I want. No restrictions. I let my creative mind go nuts. LOL. In my “Outlaw Lovers”  series at Ellora’s Cave I went really dark. I’ve killed off most of the women’s population after terrorists unleash a submissive virus that goes viral. The virus mixes with deadly flus etc… The women who are left alive have a fight on their hands with many sexy hot men who are craving female companionship.  In order to accommodate men’s needs for women, the government decrees women are to be “shared” by groups of men.  The latest in the Outlaw Lovers series is “Resistance”. More on the Outlaw Lovers can be found here.

Post-Catastrophe Erotic Romance

In The Desperadoes,  (Siren BookStrand) most of the population has disintegrated due to a burst of solar flares. The survivors are left in a world without electricity and women are forced to do what they must in order to survive. Of course they will find love and romance along the way. *grin* For more info please click on covers.

Dark Hero – Billy Burke of Revolution and Twilight Saga

I LOVE dark heroes, especially Billy Burke of new tv series Revolution and movies Twilight Saga. Isn’t he absolutely sexy???

Recently I’ve come to love this fellow on the tv series “Revolution”. The series is a post-catastrophe drama scenario about what happens to our civilization when the electricity is suddenly shut off all over the world. Very scary!!

“A group of revolutionaries must battle a governing dictatorial militia 15 years after an instantaneous global shutdown of all electronic devices known as the Blackout.” – IMBD

After the lights went out, our dark hero, Miles (Billy Burke of Twilight Saga) became a militia soldier, working for the bad guys, following orders, kidnapping and training new soldiers as well as killing people. When his teenage niece, Charlie comes looking for him to help her rescue her brother who has been kidnapped by some really bad guys, her uncle Miles, at first plays the dark hero to the hilt by refusing to help her. But then his hero side shines through and he’s off on excellent adventures along with his niece, his ex-flame and other bedraggled companions while they search for his 19 year old nephew.

As the series Revolution progresses we get a deeper look at Miles; at his guilt of killing people and his need to make amends. On several occasions he puts himself in danger, almost sacrificing his life to save others. He really is a cool dark hero. If you get a chance to watch the series, Revolution, you’ll get some good action. Give it a try, especially so you can watch my sexy Miles…yep he’s all mine, so hands off ladies!

If post-catastrophes are your thing – give my post-catastrophe erotic romance menage (m/f/mm) series “the Desperadoes” a try. It follows along similar lines of Revolution of what happens when the lights go out…The Pleasure Girl (Book1), In Her Bed (Book2), Be My Dream Tonight (Book3) at Siren Bookstrand.

Hope you enjoyed my post and thanks for stopping by!!

Hugs!
