Dark Shadows! That was one of my favorite TV series when I was in, er, do I have to say when I watched it? It was a dark Gothic soap opera – vampires and beautiful women and curses and lost loves.
PS: Sins of Lust is a Finalist in the Paranormal Category!
Thou shall not kill.
For archangel Razi-el, he had no choice. He would break God’s commandment again if it were to save Uri-el from a demon’s talons. Yet even God’s most trusted archangel cannot avoid punishment. No longer Razi-el, he is now Izar, a Protector sworn to kill for the angels.
When a Protector kills an angel, Izar is summoned to work alongside Uri-el to capture the killer. Izar is shocked when his bloodlust spikes hot for the archangel. He knows better than to go after forbidden fruit. Refusing to give in to temptation, he ignores his body’s tempestuous arousal for Uri-el until a heated argument turns his blood into molten lust.
As they rush to find the killer, their passion plays into the demon’s plan. Izar will have to make a choice between life and death if he is to save Uri-el again.

CAUGHT IN CRIMSON Character Spotlight: Adam Montague
Meet Adam Montague. Carpenter, divorcee, businessman. Used to being in charge. Is a true gentleman. Opens doors for ladies, says ma’am, leaps to protect them whenever possible.
In short, he’s completely wrong for Delia.
But damn, does he like what she does to him.
After discovering his wife Vanessa’s embezzlement and their subsequent divorce, Adam found it hard to trust anyone, much less women. But at his employee’s urging, Adam reluctantly agrees to an online dating profile. He doesn’t really click with anyone until he happens upon CrimsonLady83’s profile.
She’s gorgeous, sexy, and seems almost completely insane. But Adam can’t deny the magic things happening around him, even though they should be impossible. Thrown into a world he knows nothing about, he’ll have a lot to deal with in order to get out with his life, and heart, intact.
Let’s play questions with Adam!
1. What is your favorite word?
Energy. I like how it makes me feel.
2. What is your least favorite word?
Vanessa. For obvious reasons.
3. What turns you on?
Other than a great body? Intelligence. I love a woman who’s clever.
4. What turns you off?
5. What sound do you love?
The sound of tools on wood. It means progress.
6. What sound do you hate?
7. What is your favorite curse word?
8. What profession other than yours would you like to attempt?
I can’t imagine doing anything but building. It’s who I am.
9. What profession would you not like to do?
I could never sit in an office and handle phone calls. That would drive me insane.
10. If you could paint a picture of your perfect woman, what would it be like?
Well, she’s kind. Brave, and strong, but lets me take care of her too. She’s beautiful, curvy, moves well. But I guess the most important thing is that she’d be trustworthy. I’d have to be able to know she and I were a team.

I’m an east coaster, one of the luckier ones on the fringes not at the center of Hurricane Sandy. As I write, the shush of the winds is getting louder, an odd tree branch slams against the brick of the house, the overhead lights flicker. My heart to all out there in the middle of it. Be safe. Take care.
There’s a reason storms steal such a prominent place in our stories, our nightmares and our aspirations. A symbol of passion, pent up and needy, and one of rage seeking outlet, it is dark chaos before the dulcet calm of peace. The anger of the storm outside brings out the grounding that shelter gives to our lives—it is our haven, a manifestation of safety, security, home. Passion tied to home, rage to security—the foundation of romance.
Just think: A darkened living room, lit by soft glow of candles and scented by crispness of a wood fire. Cliché? Perhaps, but also timeless. For it is here closest to elements, yet protected from them, is where I would choose the perfect first date with dark, ripped and wizard.
My dream guy—a magic wielder, who can blaze the fire brighter, have it shimmer in rainbow colors, and refill the glasses with hot mulled wine with a snap even though the electricity fizzled out hours ago and the supermarket’s been empty for days.
In the confines of the house, those wizard power can create a romantic, erotic journey anywhere, any place. With a few choice words and finger slides (I won’t say where), we’re floating on rose petals to the bedroom or on a canal in Venice with the an off-key gondolier (a little unexpected dissonance adds to the uniqueness of the venture) or windsurfing along the Great Wall of China, playing tickle on the ceiling, riding centaurs in a grass-lined basement. The possibilities limited only by your imagination and your fears without ever leaving home.
If you had yourself a wizard, what would you do with him?
Sabrina Garie is on a journey to create the most kick-ass heroine in romance fiction. You can meet the first heroine in Fires of Justice at Elloras Cave, Amazon, and Barnes and Noble.
Hello and welcome to Darker Temptations. I’m excited to a part of this fabulous group of writers. I’m Sabrina and today’s give away is a $10.00 gift card from either Amazon or Barnes and Noble (your choice). Let me introduce myself and then I want to hear about you.
First thing you all need to know about me is that as much as I love to write, I hate to write about myself. So I’ll rely on my virgo practicality and organize.
The Personal Lowdown
I’m a single mother of a nine year old (going on 16) who is the source of my profoundest joy and the greatest exasperation known to man and monster. You may know how that goes. 😉 Exploration is built into my DNA so I tend to be in perpetual motion, having lived in many places—Washington, D.C., Chicago, Boston, Vienna, Austria, Florence, Italy, London, UK to name a few–and visited an awful lot more. That wanderer gene explains my love for books, the paranormal and science fiction—“to go where no one has gone before.” For years of my youth, I wanted to be an astronaut, just to see what’s out there. Stuck on earth, I live out those fantasies by just making it up myself.
I write paranormal, science fiction, romantica and contemporary. My focus is less on genre and more on characters and the best setting for them to struggle and shine. Strong, kick ass women who have as much pain to work through as the damaged hero they love are my passion as a writer and a reader. Life is hard and I like to see people move beyond their own limits. I have found much of my own inspiration to go further and higher from book heroines and heroes. Writing is my way of giving back to something that has been important to me.
Stuff I Like
- Coffee. I can’t seem to get by without it. I tried to give it up, several times, but…
- Movie nights with pizza, popcorn and beer (or wine) and don’t forget the loved ones.
- Sunday night storms when I am all snuggled up inside.
- Walking down the street eating a coffee ice cream in a sugar cone covered with chocolate sprinkles.
- Scrabble, boggle, banagrams (word games, love word games).
- Lord of the Ring Trilogy, Dr. Who. Star Trek, Disc World, True Blood and the Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy.
- To quote Crash Davis in the movie Bull Durham “ long, slow, deep, soft, wet kisses that last three days.”
